My Hayward lasted 12 years and I didn’t want to pay the replacement $$. So far, this one is working just fine. Had to take a piece of the HW (the lever to stop water intake to the pump) and also had to get a larger intake adapter for the hose to fit. Menards $5. Still worth the money savings…so far.**update** got this in May, ran it 24-7 May -22SEP and just shut it off-closed the pool. 27’ pool it handle it well. Worth the saving from a Hayward.
