They are functional and nice and big. But the placement of the stickers is not centered very well. just a little OCD observation.

In a quiet Chicago pub tucked away from the busy streets, a pair of wooden dice sit on the bar counter. Each is a sturdy 2-inch cube, m with the symbols of the card suits on four sides hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. In just a novelty; they are a new tradition. When patrons can’t decide who’s buying the next round, the dice come out. Roll a heart? Show some love: you’re paying. A diamond? Treat yourself: someone’s buying for you. A club? Everyone chips in. A spade? Well, fate isn’t on your side tonight. Despite their simple purpose, the dice have already become a symbol of fairness, camaraderie, and good humor. Strangers laugh over them, friendships spark from chance rolls, and even the grumpiest patrons can’t stay sour when those humble wooden cubes tumble across the counter.

We play cards fairly often, especially during winter months, and suit marker dice are very helpful to reduce the "what is trump, again" questions. Unfortunately, this set is not very well made. The wood blocks are roughly 2" cubes with rounded corners and edges; they are nicely sanded smooth. The suit markings are simply stickers or vinyl decals that are applied to the faces of the cubes. The stickers appear to be protected by a clear-coat finish, so they should stay in place. But very little care was taken during manufacture, and the stickers (especially the hearts) are applied off-center. The result looks a bit cheesy and unimpressive. Another issue is that the mouth opening of the storage jar/container that the dice come in is slightly too small. The dice get stuck inside the jar; turning it upside-down and shaking isn't enough to get them out, and they don't protrude far enough to get a good grip on them. When they do come out, they rub against the rim at 4 points and, over time, are likely to get scratches and mars in the clear coat. They are so difficult to remove that I've discarded the storage container and just keep the dice loose. So, while these dice function as they are intended, they are a somewhat disappointing product that is not a good value for the price.
