The only reason why I gave this company a shot was because their saw will use my existing Makita batteries. To my surprise, the saw was not bad. It did exactly what it said it would do so I was happy with it. The extension handle gave me a little problem with the swivel head and I reached out to the company and they took care of it instantly. I was going to give them my four star rating because the saw is good but their customer service was even better and for that reason I will give them a five star rating. So far, I would recommend this product. Does exactly what it says, perfect little size, and easy to use.

Received the saw in good condition, except for the safety guard was cracked. Not sure if JOVANT fault or Shipper, but was minor. Saw worked good and was powerful enough to do the minor pruning jobs which is why i ordered it. Chain was easy to access. Makita batteries will work but cannot use JOVANT batteries in Makita tools.

Good for occasional, light duty use. Construction is ok and serves the purpose. Instructions are somewhat lacking in that the Oil Fill Reservoir is not discussed - no mention of how to use, frequency, or oil weight. The pole is a little shorter than I'd want, and is shorter than a manual pole saw. Having a spare blade is nice to have. Worked well raising the canopy on our trees. Didn't deplete the battery excessively.
