This multifunctional garden tool is great for clearing out unwanted vegetation in the narrow passage between my garden and my house. There are also a lot of perennials that are planted close together, and it was difficult to remove any weeds that might pop up between them. It doesn't help that there is a large tree in my neighbor's yard which is raining down twigs, moss and other debris which needs constant removal.This rake/hoe serves a dual purpose (multi-purpose). I'm able to weed and also remove old leaves and branches that come from the tree next door. I can then use it to redistribute the decorative stone as well.The length is adjustable, which makes it easier to get the right amount of leverage for either digging deep enough to pull out roots or gently scrape the twigs and leaves that are clogging the soil without damaging my plants. Because it's smaller than a rake, I can easily move it around my plantings without destroying them. I can also aerate soil and even pull out the morning glory vines that raid my peonies every year. This has multiple uses. I wish I had this last year. I could have used it for planting as well.

I received the Ukiupop 2-in-1 Heavy-Duty Garden Hoe with 5-Tine Rake and have been genuinely pleased with how it handles my regular yard work. The adjustable handle is a real back-saver, letting me switch between a longer reach for the garden beds and a shorter length for tighter spots. The tool feels sturdy, and the sharp blade makes quick work of weeding, while the rake side is perfect for loosening soil and turning over mulch. For example, I recently used it to clear a 30-foot strip of dirt edging along my flower beds, and it took just a few minutes to get everything looking neat.One thing I noticed compared to some other garden hoes is that the tubing isn’t the thickest on the market. That might be a concern for folks who need a tool for heavy-duty digging or prying up rocks, but for my purposes-mainly weeding, soil loosening, and general maintenance-it’s more than strong enough. I appreciate that it’s lightweight, which means I can use it for longer stretches without my arms getting tired, and the handle sections screw together tightly, so there’s no wobble.Assembly was a breeze, and I like that I can break it down for easy storage in the shed. This comes in a pretty short box, but dont' be discouraged! I am 5'3" and this is nearly as tall as me!! This is a good thing because it means no bending over. Assembly was pretty straight forward. They provided ALL of the tools needed to put this together and it feels nice a solid built all while being very lightweight. I have been using it in my garden and the blade side is nice and sharp - not in a cut your finger kind of way, but in a cut right thru the roots quick kind of way. The rake side easily snags up the weeds. You can use this as a manure spreader, weed puller, or even a trench digger for seed planting. So many uses for a fair reasonable price. Great functionality, great quality, fantastic idea.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This tool is sturdy construction and easy to handle. I was missing a couple screws but it still functions without them. It is great to not have to lean over and the handle options would also work great for a tall person.

Easy to assemble and I it makes weeding so much easier. The double sided rake/hoe is great. Two tools in one.

I got this rake/hoe as I have areas that have not been maintained in quite a while and the soil is very packed. Assembly of the hoe was very easy and quick. All the screws and tools needed came with the hoe/rake. The handle sections screwed into each other easily as well. You can use as many or few handle segments as needed for effective ergonomics (save the back, save the knees). Using all four segments gave me the length needed to reach some hard to reach areas for weeding. The blade on the hoe is sharp and cutting out the weeks and turning the dirt was no effort at all. I was afraid that with the handle segments that once assembled the handle would be wobbly. It is not. Very sturdy and can take a workout. I am very pleased with this tool.
