There is a good bit of assembly required for this stand, but it went together smoothly and stands sturdily. The metal frame runs up behind the sides of the target, so if you’re a really bad shot, your ammo might bounce off those, but otherwise this is a perfect stand for backyard bb shootin’.

I prefer the built-in stakes as they seem far less prone to pulling out easily. The adjustable width makes it simple to adjust your target size (though it only goes down so far, I got some really nice targets but they're just too narrow.) A piece of cardboard would easily resolve this though.Using "Chicago" screws to assemble is a nice touch, if you hit the head it's not a big deal as if you were to hit the threads on a bolt (making it impossible to unscrew.) No exposed threads! Wingbolts (not nuts) with the nuts being welded to the frame are also a nice touch. Less hardware to contend with. Comes with a pair of allen wrenches to assemble and can be made shorter (I left out a set of uprights for my purposes.)I didn't bother with the 1x2 for a steel target as I have plenty of steel targets already. Looks like it would easily fit one though.Once stuck in the ground on my range, it felt pretty sturdy. Doesn't feel like it will fall over.

The targets I find for similar pricing only seems to be the base frame and requires you to build a frame yourself. This target stand comes with a square tube frame, so it's about ready to build and shoot out of the box without need additional frame work. It does have the optional stand in the middle you can build onto though. The pieces bolt together quite easily, and comes with stakes to hold it down, as it is a bit lighter weight than other target frames.Comes with paper targets and paper clamps, the target is relatively straight forward to assemble and gives you some options in my opinion. Sometimes I hang pressurized bottles from it instead for more reactive targets.Works well for what it is and I'd say is a more complete package with one purchase.

I recently received the Balie Space 2-in-1 Shooting Target Stand Holder through the Vine program, and this is my initial impression and personal opinion. Overall, I'm impressed with the build quality and versatility of this stand.The stand immediately catches your attention with its heavy-duty construction. The metal frame feels incredibly solid, and I'm confident it will hold up well to repeated use and the elements for years to come. The black finish looks durable and resists scratches.The '2-in-1' functionality is a major selling point. The parts are not labeled for assembly, but there are only a few, so I did get it together fairly quickly. I somehow managed to put several parts together incorrectly and had to disassemble, fix and reassemble. Other than that, it does disassemble for storage with a couple of wing screws, it does adjust in width very easily, again by use of a couple of wing screws. As long as you don';t have novice shooters who miss big, this should last a long time. The feet are about 6" stakes that went into my hard soil with no real issues. Being able to clamp 4 corners of a paper target does a good job of holding the target still in the breeze. I have been able to fit every style of target I own into this frame, which I count as a bonus, only needing the one frame. I guess I am gonna have to buy a second one for when I have guests out.

Poorly made. The wing-nut that locks in the bottom adjustment broke the weld before it even got tight.

Great and easy to assemble. I especially like that it is adjustable. I aslo like it because it can permanent or portable the stakes give it this option. I am sure it durable, my son shot at the target with a 20ga shot gun . I do not recommend this , it did not go threw the side poles but there is some dents .

This 2-in-1 shooting target stand has some solid features—adjustable width, easy setup, and it holds paper targets well. That said, a direct hit on the frame will split it, so aim true or be ready to replace parts. Also, finding a compatible steel target for the lower mount takes some digging. It’s a decent value for casual range days, just don’t expect it to take heavy abuse without consequence.
