I'm rebuilding a cigar box uke that I picked up for my birthday years ago and has since been threatened with extinction by flood and any number of other perils. After the flood waters forever altered the neck and rusted the tuning pegs, I decided to replace them and preserve the untouched rest of it. These pegs are a whole lot more shiny and bright than the original ones were and they really look great! I'm doing a fly paint job on the neck right now but I've already fit the pegs into it so I could get a sense of the whole. I'm very happy with them thus far! A+++

I got these tuning pegs because I build instruments like CBGs and gourd lutes and will use them in those projects. These tuners are decent basic tuners but nothing special. The description says the are ukelele pegs but they are a bit big for that, they seem to be standard acoustic guitar tuners. They are somewhat stiff to turn so you might want to lubricate the gear system to make them work better.
