How to Use

1. First, put the throttle line through the upper cover of the carburetor, then put the spring on the throttle line, and then extend the throttle line through the throttle hole, pull it out from the slot near it, and wrap it to the bottom, and put the head of the throttle line into the for Mekong groove at the bottom of the throttle valve.

2. When installing the throttle valve into the carburetor, pay attention to the small slope of the throttle valve facing the idle screw, and the long groove facing the side with a raised point in the carburetor to the bottom, and then tighten the cover. At this time, the throttle valve can be seen from the throat of the carburetor to the bottom.

3. Open the cover of the plunger, and then pass the throttle wire through the middle of the spring of the plunger cover.


4. Pass the plug hole of accelerator cable through, and then lock and fix it with screws to complete the installation.

My original throttle cable was really flimsy and cheap - all plastic housing, jerky, and not rigid or precise. My engine speed would drop due to the vibration as my old throttle did not hold position. This cable was easy to use as a replacement, and it is built much stronger and with better tolerances. It operates more smoothly and easily locks in place at the desired engine speed. It should have come with one of these from the factory.

This throttle cable is smooth acting, the throttle handle block is aluminum and the handle is stainless. The plastic knob and button work great. The cable is flexible and the engine end is stainless to stand up to the elements. The whole assembly is well made and works great.

It worked, I wish they would supply cable end selection. I had to make an end piece. It worked then.
