This is a set of single flute end mills cutting tool used in industrial milling applications. It is distinguished from the drill bit in its application, geometry, and manufacture. Single flute end mills are used for superior chip evacuation in high speed milling. These end mills are made of tungsten carbide which will tolerate a lot more heat while still keep a good hardness.

I have only used it in aluminum seems to cut as good as any other bits I have purchased that are un coated. I have a small heavily modified 3018 mill seems to be sized perfectly for them. That being said I would use it for lighter materials if you do not have a modified 3018.
