I got a green screen with a lighting kit for Christmas and they the soft boxes didnt comes with any lights. My wife used to work in the movie industry and suggested this. They are fantastic for their dimming capability and the 3000k (think soft yellow light) to 6000k (think day light) is absolutely perfect for different shots that need that special touch of ambience in house recording!

You can control the color temp and brightness with the included remote. Hopefully it lasts!

These are not very bright, in direct comparison to my current 4500-lumen bulbs they're a clear downgrade, not good considering these claim to be 6000.Upon plugging one of the bulbs in I found that it was cycling through the settings anytime it was touched, so much so that I thought maybe it was a feature, it's not.Upon unpackaging the remotes I found that one of them while functioning had a split open casing with one of the buttons improperly installed (some internals were poking out between the hole and the silicon.) Even if one was broken it wouldn't matter much as both bulbs can be controlled with either remote.After determining that these just weren't going to cut it for photography purposes I went to unscrew them from my fixtures to find that in only a couple minutes the heatsinks had gotten very hot to the touch, not scalding, but hotter than I've ever experienced any non-incandescent bulb getting.Interestingly this same seller does sell some bulbs I would recommend, go for their fluorescents.

We use both of the bulbs, one in each of two softboxes. We have a YouTube channel. My wife and I sit side by side and I'm able to look at the camera monitor and adjust each light sitting in our positions - adjusting as necessary. These are the bomb.

They do what you want, but two things to keep in mind.First, there's no instructions for the remote control. It has way more buttons than are used, so it takes some time to fiddle around and figure out what you want it to do.Second, they revert to the warmest setting when powered off. It would be nice if they remembered their last setting.So far, no problems using them and would probably buy them again unless my two little issues were resolved in another product for around the same price.
