Though in hindsight, I should have tried adding turmeric or something to make it yellow. Anyway, it was gentle enough silicon to not destroy the delicate tallow structure.

I made a lot of beeswax candles using these molds. They are easy to needle the wick through the bottom and the thickness of the silicone seals back so despite using them a lot, no wax leaks out. Because they cool slowly, there is no uneven shrinkage or holes that develop. They are very easy to remove. I put them in these little tart tins which reflects the light and makes a very pretty setting for the holidays.

This is not a candle mold. It did not have a hole for the wick to go through. It's great for just a wax mold. It does release easily. I’ve made about 5 candles in the mols and it doesn't seem to hold it's shape as well as the first one.

I use these to make votive size beeswax candles. I used a large sewing needle to poke a hole in the center then used a large plastic needle (like kids use for yarn) to thread wick through. No need for sealant or anything, just poured the wax in and centered the wick with a chopstick. Worked great! Detail on bees very good, makes very pretty candles!

The mold works, but the bees come out wonky. Also they look more like flies than bees. It’s cheap so you get something cheap. I wouldn’t buy again.
