2. Test Detection: Use a cigarette to produce C O in a ventilated area. Hold it 2 inches (5) from the sensor and check if readings rise
3. Reset & Safety: Remove the source and ensure readings return to normal

I bought this carbon monoxide sensor for peace of mind, and it’s so easy to install. I just plugged it into an outlet in my house, and it shows the CO, as well as temperature and humidity which are nice to know too. I also love that there’s a setting to dim or turn off the lighted screen, since it bothers me at night and I don’t really need to see it all the time unless the alarm is going off.

This is a really convenient and easy to use detector. The digital display is clean and clear. Set up was easy. The temperature and humidity readout was accurate. Would definitely recommend for peace of mind

This is very helpful. I always feel like there’s a weird smell in my garage after I park. Today when I tested it. Did have some CO that’s scary.

Are you a responsible adult? Do you want to keep you and your family alive? This is for you! It looks so much better than the old school detectors, and I love the easy to read humidity and temperature readings on the screen. (Even tho it gives my teenager an extra reason to tell me that it’s too hot in the house.) We have never heard it “work”, and hope to never have a leak in the house. But, if we do, I have full faith that it would let me know. The test button reveals a surprisingly loud tone that would wake even the deepest sleeper out of their slumber. Just plug it in and go, easiest installation ever!
