The fit and appearance is the same as the original Kenmore filter, and does not fall out like some others. Evidence of its effectiveness is that it turns black on inside but remains white on outside.

Fits perfectly in my Kenmore canister vacuum. It look awhile to get here but satisfied. Contacted the seller and they got back to me timely, offering to wait or be refunded as it was still in transit at the time of inquiry. I wasn't in a rush so I waited.
