This DPST relay uses a 12V coil to switch up to 30A at 277VAC. The coil and switch contact tabs are on the top. The schematic is also on the top, making it easy to identify which tabs you are connecting. Coil resistance measures 81 ohms. To test the minimum switching voltage, first I tried a 9V alkaline battery, then a 6V carbon-zinc lantern battery, and then three AA alkaline batteries in series (4.5V). Each of these switched the relay easily. 2 AA alkaline batteries in series (3V) did not switch it.

The power relays are just as advertised. 12vdc control power with amp capacity varying based on voltage. The contacts are type A double pole, single throw, meaning you have to apply 12vdc to the coil to close the contacts. There are two contacts that can be used, each capable of 30a at 277VAC. I'm looking forward to incorporating this in my interlock control system when higher loads need to be controlled.
