I picked this product primarily because of its apparent versatility. I wanted a magazine carrier that would function as well with a single stack 45 magazine as it would with a double stack Glock magazine. The carrier’s material retained the 45 mag well, and then would stretch to accommodate the added bulk of the double stack Glock mag. While it initially seemed to have the resilience to adapt back and forth between these two magazine types on a temporary basis, after keeping the double stack Glock mag in the carrier for a few weeks, the carrier material had stretched and retained the shape of that mag and did not return to its original shape. In other words, the carrier was then only suitable for use with the double stack Glock magazine and not the single stack mag. Whether the carrier could maintain the ability to function with both magazine types if I were to remove the magazine after each use and thus prevent permanent stretching of the material is unknown at this point without purchasing another pair to try that out.Fabric wear, particularly when using the carrier for the full-size double stack mags, had been an initial concern, but its design and materials so far have not let me down.Another reason that I selected this item is that I periodically carry full-size double stack Glock magazines for a Glock subcompact. When I do so, I equip the magazines with XGrip sleeves, so I needed a carrier that would allow for full magazine insertion with the sleeves in place. This carrier is perfect for that. The XGrip prevents the magazine from going all the way down into the carrier, but that's OK because the carrier material nicely hugs the entire length of the exposed portion of the magazine.Another feature that I like is the added flap that acts as a pad between the butt of the mag and your body. This feature, in conjunction with the carrier’s material, makes wearing the carrier very comfortable. The metal clip is well made and works well to retain the carrier when carrying & drawing, while still enabling easy removal of the carrier from your waistband. The only con that I can see with this carrier is if you were to have a need to be able to replace a magazine into the carrier while it is worn. It can be done, but because it is made of soft elastic material and it is worn inside the waistband, it collapses making magazine insertion while being worn a 2-handed operation. But, that’s yet another reason why we have pockets. All in all this is a very nice product that will work with both single and double stack full size mags, even with grip extension sleeves attached. But, the material will stretch and conform to a double stack mag, so plan on a second set for your single stack mags. It is comfortable, functional, and versatile. I don’t think that you’ll be disappointed.

I have to be honest and say that when I ordered this I really didnt expect much quality out of something that was under $15. Let alone out of something that came in a 2 pack. I was completely wrong!! I have searched high and low for a spare mag holster that not only has a slim profile but is also comfortable. I'm a female and I like the security of having an extra mag on me that isn't being carried in a bulky pouch or case that stick far out off my pants. When I came across this 2 pack of universal mag holsters I figured I would give them a try. Considering the price I figured if they were garbage I wouldn't really be out much. You can definitely tell that they are made out of quality materials just by feeling them. I love the fact that the clip is reinforced onto the pouch itself so that it will hold up against wear and tear. It is super comfortable to wear. I wear it appendix next to my firearm and I dont even notice it it there. I did purchase it to place the spare mag from my Sig P365 in. While the description says it will fit any 10 round clip this is not the case with the P365 mag. There is about a half in space at the top once the mag is seated into the pouch. Because I liked the design and comfort of the pouch so much I took some scrap leather and added an insert to the pouch. Now my P365 mag fits and seats perfectly inside. The 10 round mag from my wife's Glock 43X fits perfectly with no problems as well as my Glock 17 spare mag. I also put my Leatherman Surge and OHT inside just for kicks and it worked as well. While I carry my spare P365 mag inside the pouch appendix, my wife has a different carry system for hers... She caries her Glock 43X spare mag inside the pouch and clipped to the shoulder strap of her bra. It actually conceals nicely with no printing. We all have our own placements I guess. I will definitely be ordering more of these in the future. Aside from the quality product the customer service is phenomenal as well. The company reached out to me prior to the arrival of my product which was much appreciated! The fact that this is a Combat Veteran Owned USA Company is the icing on the cake!!

As most things universal it can't do all things perfect. 1st off I have a bad back and switched from summer xds9 to a glock 43. I carry 2 extra mags with the 43 and these mag holders are very comfortable but mag pouch is 4.25" deep with an overall height of 5.5" and the stock mag is 4" deep so disappears and is very difficult to get out. I added the 2 round extension making the mag 4.25", still a problem with the pouch too deep and wide. My Glock 26 mags being wider and taller fit pretty good but not a 43 or any small mag. It needs a way to tighten on a particular size. I experimented with a safety pin on the side and can get the mag to stay in even upside down and the lip around the top keeps the mag from dropping all the way down inside. I have access to a sewing machine that can sew the side and bottom so the mag will fit secure and be easily accessible. I will keep them because as I stated they are very comfortable and inexpensive and as I can solve my problem fairly simply I will keep them, but unless you wear your gun belt very tight to hold the mags in place to be accessed or have larger mags or willing to make some modifications these are not for you. I do wish the manufacturer could find a way incorporate an adjustable sizebuilt in. Then I would probably give it 5 stars.
