I read other reviews where the nutcracker was damaged. Mine arrived in great condition. I love it. Especially the black hat thingy with fur (sorry, I am not sure the proper name for it). It looks great. Unfortunately I ordered it after Christmas so I had to put it away. It's very cute and would recommend if you like nutcrackers.

I had to glue a lot of pieces back together on Mr. Christmas!At first his legs were not attached to the main body. I glued them on--Then about a day later-- the hat feel off...............I am not sure if the glue was poorly made-- but I think I have reglued just about every piece of the nutcracker that can be glued!It is nice-- and he is attractive!

Even though I somehow manage to get a flaw on every nutcracker I buy, this one is still beautiful. Thee hat is a pouch material. Paint job is good, the wood carving is ok, everything is good except the one piece on the back, but that part will not be showing. The price is even good some how the box was a bit crushed in transport but the nutcracker stood up to the test
