great plugs, these are very solidly made and hold up to many years of use and plugging/ unplugging cycles. I use these on my tractor for accessory power. They hold up to the sun, dirt and rain.

They connect up perfectly. The handle gives a very solid grip to pull them apart. The caps fit great. I thought the screws for the handles were a bit short at first, but actually they're just about a half a millimeter shy of protruding past the nuts, so I'd say this is actually perfect - I'll just use a little loctite to make sure they stay on.

I use Anderson connectors on all my backup batteries to connect them together if needed and to connect different inverters which are portable. These Anderson Connectors, 4PCS 175A 1/0-4 Gauge Battery Cable Quick Connect/Disconnect Connector Plug Kit for Car Forklift Motor Winch Trailer (Red 4AWG) are good quality and will work great for my project use.

I really like these quick connects. I'd never seen these before, and I wish I'd found them a long time ago. I recently used them to connect 1/0 cables between my battery and a battery bank I keep on my trailer to run my tools. I also have a set between my Winch and the battery so I can easily unplug it when it's not in use, or connect another set of leads to jump start other vehicles. They work really well and are a lot easier than unscrewing ring terminals like I was doing before. Now I can easily disconnect my trailer, which is much more convenient. The face-mounted versions look clean when mounted, just be careful when you are cutting the hole.5/5 stars, exactly as advertised and much easier than other options.

Very well made connectors; durable. I'm very happy with these, they exceeded my expectations. Though, there were no instructions... This is how I connected wires to the terminals and it should not be taken as professional advise on how you should do it. First I stripped the wires to the correct length. 2) soldered the wires. 3) sanded/filed the solder down so that they fit snugly into the terminals. 4) put additional solder into any voids 5) placed the wire in a vise, then used a small torch to solder the wires to the terminals, being careful to not melt the wires insulation. 6) used a dull chisel and a hammer to crimp the terminal. None of the terminals cracked/split. I'm happy with the results and it all seems rock solid for long term use. The terminals are way thicker than typical terminals. If you have a hydraulic crimper it will probably work or a manual hammer crimper, but a regular crimper won't do it, even the large ones made for battery cables won't. The connectors snap firmly together and come apart with reasonable effort. I like the dust cover for the connector that's staying on the vehicle. A heads up- don't put the terminals into the plastic connector until the wires are permanently connected. If you do that, you won't like having to remove them. To remove- use a narrow blade screw driver to push down the metal spring strip at the terminal tip while pulling the other end of the terminal with needle nose pliers.
