First thing, looking at the other reviews, I'm tempted to simply say "What THEY Said!":) However, I have a few additional thoughts, especially for those who need to connect/disconnect LONG lengths of 2/0 cables-either for connecting high current heavy duty flatbed trailer mounted electric winches to their towing vehicle's forward mounted batteries, or simply require extended 'reach' to satisfy their electrical power needs (heavy equipment, larger vessels, off-vehicle power grids etc.) For the contractor with multiple power hungry type trailers/devices, the ability to rapidly rapidly connect/disconnect to the same vehicle makes the utility of these connectors a no-brainer, especially for the 'winching' community deploying the ever increasing powerful recovery winches (like the 13,500, 15000 and up crowd-looking at YOU :) These units Are highly visible, fire resistant, and designed to ONLY connect the 'correct way' whether in the Dark, during weather, or other visibility reducing environs, They are BIG, and stout, but not overly so considering the currents they can carry. Altogether, worthy of your consideration. THUMB's UP! (Just be sure to pick the right sized with the right components 'kit' that you need. They are bigger than I anticipated at about the size of my husband's hand. They are a fair value for the money. The ease of installation was average and they function as expected. He was able to get the cables crimped on and in his application (Battery pack and not automotive or marine based) soldered them as well. I can not pull the connectors apart and it takes him a fair amount of pressure to do so; and twice that to get them to go together.

I've been really happy with the brand's lower amperage connectors of this style, but these 350A ones aren't impressing me. They connect together fine, but they're definitely easier to get apart than I'd like. If I end up using them in an application like my truck camper, I would want to run a zip-tie around them, lengthwise, to ensure they stayed connected through all the vibration.I'd also prefer to see the lugs, themselves, widened to better support 350 amps... You can see in my picture that there's a good 3/32" extra width available for the lug. Not to mention, it also tapers shorter towards the upper/front contact area. (I know that profile is typical for these, but at 350A, I want to see the surface contact better optimized.)Finally, the caps are essentially unusable because they're so tight. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it off the connector, and even that was still tough.

I mean it. They are huge! I picked these up because I have legitimate use case in my solar battery bank, but I wonder what the average use is? Disconnect the battery to your car in the winter time? Or perhaps a really large winch? If you are looking at these, you probably already know what you are going to use them for.Pros: Heavy duty plastic. I saw in the description that they have a fire rating, but I'm not going to try and test that out. The terminals are silver plated copper, so you should get some longevity in use and a really good connection on top of that. I haven't tried putting them on the wire I'm going to use them with, but I'm going to try and crimp the terminals with a hydraulic crimper. They are a genderless design, so they can be plugged into any other set that has the positive and negative wired correctly. They also come with dust caps, but they are difficult to put on.Cons: It's a good product, though the dust caps are hard to install.
