Very hard product. Will not remove paint from metal without lots of pressure which will leave undesired marks. Works if you don't care what your end result looks like. I was hoping to remove paint from a visible metal surface and had to stop using it immediately because of the obvious scarring these wheels leave.

Use to polish cast iron pans for restoration. Work real well.

Thought these would be flexible like other similar paint stripping wheels that I have purchased and would be suitable for cleaning aluminum but they are very hard. Not even going to try. Would certainly damage the aluminum. For other very tough jobs on harder metals (iron or steel) it seems like they would work well.

Bought these to help strip rust from an old wood stove but they are actually To hard ! Work great but not for more delicate areas like corroded rusty nickel plating, they will scratch it
