Device shows as active on the I2C bus - BUT doesn't actually function (at least as a gesture sensor).

After trying with 3 different libraries for arduino ( Adafruit, Sparkfun and genreric) only color detection and light sensitivity are available, gesture and everything required interrupts is not working at all. (tested with 3 different controllers, even with logic level converter).
