The hook seemed to hold my partner’s bike just fine but his bike is light (maybe 15lbs). Mine has a basket in the back and is probably 30lbs and the hook started to bend. So yeah I wouldn’t use these for anything heavy. Use it for kids bikes or very light bikes. Easy to install at least.

UPDATE: Got these installed and hung my 37-pound mountain bike. The hook immediately started to bend under the weight. Left it overnight to see what would happen. The hook ended up pointing about 45 degrees past where it was supposed to be. They claim to be able to handle a 44-pound bike, but my bike begs to differ. Maybe we got a defective set, but they are useless.--------------------These hooks seem to bit pretty sturdy and well made, but they are not sized correctly to work with all mountain bikes. The images show these hooks being used with a variety of bicycle types, including mountain bikes. However, standard mountain bike tire widths range from 1.6 inches to 2.6 inches, and these hooks have a 1.97 inch opening. We have 2.25 inch wide tires, and they don’t fit in the hooks. I guess I should have noticed the small opening before I ordered the hooks, but it is in one of the lower images and I missed it.The hooks are made of heavy duty steel, but can probably be bent to accommodate a mountain bike tire. The company could easily shave off a bit of the curved section that hooks around the tire to accommodate tires with larger widths (see image). The hooks are a good idea and a great design, except for wide tires. Since I will figure out a way to make them work, they are not useless, but it invalidates the “easy to install” claims.

Nothing flashy - just a pair of hooks to hang some of my kids' bikes up on the wall. These were sturdy with a good finish. Installation was quick and easy. I am only using them for Youth sized bikes, but don’t think it would be a problem for heavier adult sized mountain bikes.

Installed the hooks this past weekend and I originally tried to hold the bike up off the ground a little as depicted in the product shots, after hanging the first bike the hook immediately started to bend, I quickly realized this wasn't going to work and I wouldn't trust leaving the bikes like that. I ended up moving the hooks lower on the wall and use them to hold the bike upright with the other tire resting on the ground and this seems to work well so far. Long term I will likely be looking for a new solution.

These Pershook Heavy Duty Bicycle Hook Storage Wall Mount Hooks are middle of the road. First off, the provided screws seem like drywall screws, so I tossed them and used 2" deck screws. The hooks themselves are fairly strong, but may not fit all bikes. I haven't had enough experience to decide if the fact that the hooks can slide off the wall mount is a plus or a pain. Plus side you can take the hook off any time you want to free up the wall space. Minus side is the if you hit the hook just right with the tire, it can pop off the hanger. If that becomes an issue, I'll be smacking that hanger with a ball peen to lock the hook in place.

Solid bike holder. Given you find the stud in the wall or otherwise secure these well, they hold great. I have a gravel bike of moderate weight - not the heaviest bike or lightest - and it is held up very well with these. If you have thinner tires, I'd recommend using a washcloth or some sort of padding between the wheel and the metal just for a bit of extra protection, but not completely necessary. These are great if you're looking to just free up some extra space in the garage without breaking the bank on a bunch of fancy organizer solutions.

These heavy-duty bike hooks are a great garage organizer. The steel construction with rubber coating securely holds my 35-pound bike without wobble or rim scratches. Installation took 10 minutes with included screws and anchors, though I swapped the screws for sturdier ones. They save floor space by hanging bikes vertically and fit my 2.5-inch tires well. My only gripe is the lack of a rear wheel tray, risking wall marks. For the price, they’re solid—just upgrade the hardware.

My plan was to install these, then leave my vehicles out of the garage to make sure that everything was stable, and that nothing would fall and damage anything. I didn't get that change. The included images show how the brackets bent. I have so many problems with these, so I'll try to list them here. The included screws are trash. Small and flimsy. Even screwing into a stud, I really question how well they'd hold a heavy bike. I used better screws for my own sanity. As others have noted, the two-piece setup is kind of wonky. The bracket is flimsy, and leaves alot to be desired. The hook is hard to use. It's hard to get the right angle to get the tire into. And, last but not least, the instructions don't match the included hardware.Don't waste your time, or risk damaging any of your belongings. Find something higher quality. I will.
