Got these to help guide my BB16 pontoon on the trailer better in the river current and wind. I was pretty surprised at how sturdy these things are. Solid feel and mount very tight to frame with included hardware. Theres absolutely no flex at all.I have yet to launch my boat but am very confident these will do the trick over the cheaper plastic ones that Ive seen snap. the tube steel on these wont break and are padded pretty well to protect the toons.I would definitely buy these again!

Mounting plates and hardware included that make it adjustable to fit different width rails. Easy to install with a 9/16 or two wrench/socket or just pliers. The top rubber pad is secure but the adhesive holding the side rubber pad on the posts is not good and they peeled off when a corner caught my pocket. I'm going to try using Gorilla Glue but may switch to an epoxy resin since the powder coat is so nice. The material, welds, and powder coated paint are extremely well made, even the rubber pads themselves. Its just whatever they used to adhere the side rubber pads wont last.
Just my opinion

These just don't work like shown in the pictures. Not unless you have a wide trailer or a narrow boat. I have a Polar Kraft and I had to do some serious modifications to get these to work for my trailer. I managed to make them work but it took some creativity.

Installing these boat trailer guide poles was one of the smartest upgrades I’ve made to my trailer setup. At 25.5 inches, they’re the perfect size to guide my pontoon right onto the trailer without hassle, and they’ve completely eliminated the stress of crooked loading or worrying about tipping. The rubber-wrapped tops are a thoughtful touch—they protect the boat’s finish even if it makes contact. Everything I needed was in the box, and I had them bolted onto the trailer in minutes without needing an extra set of hands. They feel super solid and well-built, and the rust-resistant coating gives me confidence they'll last through countless trips to the water.

These guide poles are VERY heavy duty. I appreciate that there is a rubber coating over the top to protect anything that may hit them. My only complaint is they are very short. They are too short to see while loading a boat. I ended up installing these on the end of our dock to make it more visible and provide another post to tie up to.

These really made getting my boat on the trailer by myself so much easier, especially on windy days. I was able to attach these to the trailer frame just behind the wheels and that only took about 10 minutes. They help guide the boat to the center and keep the back of the boat from drifting to the side when windy or if there's a strong current. Wish I would have added these years ago.

I recently received this 2PCS Boat Trailer Guide Poles Kit through the Amazon Vine program and wanted to share my initial impressions. As a boat owner, I'm always looking for ways to make launching and loading easier, especially in windy conditions.Right out of the box, the kit appears well-made. The listing description seems accurate; these are indeed heavy-duty guide poles designed to help center your boat on the trailer. Installation was surprisingly straightforward. The included hardware (gaskets and bolts) was sufficient, and I was able to bolt them onto my trailer beams (which are under 3.5' wide) without any issues. I even managed to do it myself, which is a definite plus!My primary motivation for trying these was to combat the wind's tendency to push the transom to one side during loading. After installing these guides, I can already tell they'll make a significant difference. They provide a clear visual target and will help keep the boat aligned with the bunks. What used to be a stressful ordeal of struggling to center the boat, particularly in windy conditions, now seems like it will be a much simpler task. The build quality looks solid. The metallic material feels robust, and the rust-proof coating gives me confidence that they'll hold up well against the elements, even with regular exposure to sunlight and saltwater. The 25.5-inch length seems like a good compromise, providing adequate guidance without being overly bulky.**Overall:**So far, I'm impressed. This kit seems like a worthwhile investment for anyone who frequently trailers their boat, especially if they struggle with loading in windy conditions. The easy installation and durable construction are major selling points. I'll update this review after I've had a chance to use them on the water a few times, but my initial impression is very positive.

I picked these up because my trailer has no guides so it's difficult to see when lining up to park the boat back on the trailer. Unfortunately these guide posts won't fit my trailer so I can't give an honest review beyond the fact that they're solid, heavy, and should work for most other trailers. My trailer has a triangle shape step built in to the back so it's not possible to mount these. Most trailers with a straight frame rail at the back will be perfect for these guid posts where you can just clamp straight to the frame. With the built in step on my trailer these can't clamp on.
