  • REDUCE TRANSOM PRESSURE & PREVENT SHAKING: Transom saver can minimize the pressure on your transom. In the event of a hydraulic failure, it will protect the trim hydraulics and is very suitable for protecting motor when towing on rough roads.
  • PROTECTING BOAT MOTOR: Boat transom saver can raise the distance of boat motor from the ground, and will not be scratched by the debris splashed on the ground during trailering, preventing motor from hitting the ground when the road is bumpy.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Boat motor support is compatible with multiple brands of motor and its 5" length can meet the needs of the vast majority of engines, providing excellent support to stabilize the motor to protect your motor and transom.
  • QUALITY MATERIALS & SUPER SOLID FUNCTION: Made of high quality epdm rubber, which is very hard and can withstand pressures up to 2000lb. It has excellent heat, weather and corrosion resistance, and will not leave rubber marks on the transom.
  • EASY INSTALLATION: You just tilt motor up a little higher than normal, place transom saver and press it onto the piston then lower motor until the support is in place, making sure boat motor transom saver snaps into place and locks firmly.

This transom saver worked for my old 50 HP Mercury 2 stroke. I only needed one of the 2 pack. It is made of heavy duty rubber and was east to slip on the piston. I haven't moved the boat yet but it should work well. The first pic shows the motor tilted all the way up. I then lowered it until the motor was supported by the transom saver as shown in the second picture. Now I just have to remember to remove it before I launch the boat.

These transom saver rubber cylinders are solid. They are very dense, and while they are flexible enough to open and put onto the hydraulic, they won't compress easily. They take up very little space. The photos for the product do a good job demonstrating how to use them. I wanted something to help secure my twin motors for the trailer, and these do the job well.
