I bought these January 2024 for a clock project I was going to do that winter. I didn't do it until this February this year. The first clock works kept perfect time for 2 days then stopped. Tried a new battery and it went for one day and started to stop intermittently. I installed the second one and it did about the same thing. I looked over the packaging and realized they had a year warranty. Missed by 2 months!

These clock kits worked perfectly and were super easy to use. I had a favorite clock that stopped working so I decided to try these. My clock is now working again. With so many hand options provided in the kit, I was able to share some with my dad for his clock!

Great buy for turning anything into a clock. Easy to put together, seem pretty durable and silent.I like all the different hand options so each one you make is different. Works good and would recommend!

Great buy and finally an old clock we loved is back working. None of the supplied hands (and there are many) was the exact length I needed, but you can trim them easily enough with a pair of scissors.

I bought this set to replace a clock mechanism that had failed after 15 years of use. This set comes with two quartz mechanisms to allow the customer to choose the correct fit as well as various sizes and styles of hands. This was very helpful for the average untrained customer. Unfortunately, there were no real instructions in how to replace a clock mechanism and I ended up viewing about 5 different Youtube videos in order to figure out how to dismantle the existing clock and mechanism without damaging the clock. One of the mechanisms shipped was flawed and had a non-usable post, but the mechanism that was functional ended up being the correct size for my clock. I was able to re-use the hands from my original clock and got it all put back together for a functional clock. One nice aspect is that the replacement mechanism does not have the annoying tick-tock sound that was a problem with the original clock. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, but would have been unhappy had I needed the size that was flawed.
