These are super fun - they turned my truck into a real life "CARS" car character. My son indicated he wished there were "happier" eyes, but I think the little glare "devil eyes" look work just fine. The installation was easy. Very fun. I don't use them all the time, but they're easy to turn off/on via remote.

I LOVE these LED matrix screens! The item itself is very well made. It is so flexible you could wrap it around a soda or coffee can, which in some cases would create a really cool effect. (Think about text revolving around a globe.) It is super thin, which makes it suitable for all kinds of applications from vehicle dashboards to window signage. The LEDs are wicked bright, and the density of LEDs is perfect for crisp text that's super readable up close and from a distance. The cover is a soft, flexible, rubbery type material that has a very nice feel, and it protects the LEDs. The sky and your imagination are the limits to these matrix screens. Seriously, I can think of at least 25 applications for this from fun at home and in the vehicle to functional for business or in the classroom. Really the only thing I would change about the actual screen would be to add a microphone. The idea is to ultimately untether yourself from the screens, especially in music/sound responsive mode. Add a microphone for ambient music/sound pickup and free these screens from the device.Unfortunately, all of the possibilities for this product are hindered by the app. On iOS it's terrible. Hard to use. Limited functionality. It's not well thought out and it really drags this product down. Until this app gets a complete overhaul using the tools and technology for mobile apps available in 2025, the whole thing is stuck in the mud.I have a couple of other LED matrix products, but this is the first one that came with 2 screens. Unfortunately, they came as two individually packaged products, the app sees them as two individual screens, you can only control one screen at a time, and you can't pair them together. Just one example how this app limits functionality: You can't scroll text across 2 screens, and you can't time events on each screen, so they appear as one screen delivering one message.To do the blinking eyes effect, you connect to the left screen and select an eye and transfer it to the screen, then back all the way out, connect to the right screen, and repeat the process. It's 2025... I should be able to buy a dozen of these and tie them together into a single matrix, or multiple matrixes, using an app. There is a huge potential for professional. business, and educational use, from shop owners to DJs, but that potential can't be tapped with the app, not until you can link multiple screens together seamlessly. Not only are the users missing out on tapping potential, the designer and manufacturer are missing out on a ton of potential sales.Also, the UP, DOWN, and LASER text effects are not available for these screens on iOS. I have no clue why. And, for some reason it wants to put in an extra space every time I use an apostrophe. My little side hustle's name has an apostrophe in it. Until this bug is worked out, I can't really use it to show my own name.And yet, I love it. The actual screen, the build quality, and the potential across all walks of life make this a 5-star product in my heart. The app really ruins the experience, and yet I still give it 4-stars. It's not a huge leap to a 5-Star product. At $80 for a pair of 4" x 14" (almost) screens, I'm good with the price point, too, I think the screens are well made and worth $40 each at this size.I would love to be the guy who overhauls this app. I'm available. :)
