Works ok, sometimes falls off and easily bends. I like that I can adjust the dampening. Not sure how long they will last.

Like the title says, cheap metal. As soon as you apply a little pressure to the snare head, the metal starts to bend. I guess if you just want minimum dampening this would work, but you would get the same result from a moongel or snare weight.

These all-metal exterior mufflers that attach to the rim of your drum are well made and working great. They allow me to precisely control the amount of ringing and overtones on individual drums.Older drum sets from the 1970's used to include them on the inside of the drums with a knob on the outside of the shell that would push the pad against the underside of the head. These drum dampers do the same thing.
