Overall these are a handy set to have on hand when you are working on cars. They function as designed, and you will be more than happy to have them when trying to undo connectors in hard-to-reach spots or with cold hands.Having a straight and an angled version adds quite a bit of versatility. The quality is OK - think Harbor Freight, not Snap On - but it's not like these will ever have to withstand a lot of force, so I see no issues. What's a little weird is that the angled plier comes with a spring, whereas the straight one does not. This is not a QC issue, as the straight version does not have spring retainers either. Not sure what to think of this - it's not that the spring is crucial for the function, but I wish they both were spring loaded. This is the main reason I subtracted one star.Overall good tools to have in the box at a fair (but not necessarily cheap) price. Happy I have them and would probably get again.

I've used similar tools in the past and loved them but when I went to work on some electrical issues on my truck a few weeks ago, I discovered they were missing so I ordered these to replace them. They appear to be decent quality, at least as good as my previous pair I bought from HF and they are priced competitively. One thing I really like about this set is the angled pair. My previous pair was just straight and it worked for most of what I needed but there was some times where it just wouldn't do and the angled one in this set would have been perfect for most of those times. There will always be times where you just don't have room for special tools and have to do it by hand, but for all the times where tools can be used, these are fantastic!

I have a couple of 90s Toyotas and an 2012 Audi that I do most of the work on. Old dirty and sometimes brittle connectors can be the bane of my existence. These pliers make disconnecting them much easier. Having a couple of angles is great for those hard to reach areas. I am not sure why the angled ones have springs to auto-re-open and the other does not.The quality of the tool is not as high as something like the Merry coupling tool, but the price is also something like 1/7th and these seem good enough.

They do what they're made to do, but they feel cheaply made, poorly machined and are rather loose in movement.

i ordered this for my boyfriend who is always tinkering with our cars. The quality of the pliers are good - I wasn't expecting top notch quality but these are definitely good for the price and the fact that two pliers are included in the set.I like that there's a pair of straight pliers and angled pliers. Depending on what you're working on in whatever part of your car both pairs of pliers can come in pretty useful.I like the hand grip on the pliers - it makes it easier to hold/grasp.Overall the pliers are useful and gets the job done. The quality is good and they feel durable. I expect them to last for a while with proper use and care - this set is a good buy!

This is a fantastic set of plug pliers. Very good quality materials used. They feel solid and well made. They're comfortable to hold and squeeze. They work great on the tab plugs, as well as hoses and clamps. I like the straight pliers, but Love the curved one. That one makes it easier to get around corners that I would otherwise have a very difficult time with. I love the spring that's added. It makes for a nice firm grasp and easy opening. They open pretty wide and will fit around any plug and hose under my hood. They function extremely well. Not that pliers have a lot of functions, but they are smooth during use. The handles are your standard size, but I like the way they don't slip out of my hand all of the time. These aren't heavy duty, but they are strong. The claws grip really well. This is a great set of plug pliers for anyone that works on vehicles. I have actually used them in my home too...for working on my oven...lol They're great for reaching plugs that are in wired sections. These are very convenient, and believe it or not, somewhat versatile. Fantastic set!

This 2-piece set of electrical disconnect pliers is a practical and versatile addition to any automotive or mechanical toolkit. The kit includes one pair of straight pliers and one 60-degree angled version, giving you flexibility for tackling connectors in tight or awkward spaces. The design is well thought out, with serrated jaws providing good grip and control, especially when working with fuel lines or electrical harnesses. The spring-loaded function on the angled pliers aids one-handed use, which is a bonus during engine work where accessibility is often limited. The slim, tapered nose reaches well into confined areas, while the heavy-duty construction feels solid and should hold up well under regular use. The textured grips are comfortable to hold and provide a secure grip without slipping, even when working in greasy conditions. The only limitation to note is that these are manual pliers, so while they make connector release easier, they still require some hand pressure to operate effectively, users working with very tight connectors may still find occasional resistance. That said, they do reduce the risk of damaging plastic tabs or clips.Overall these disconnect pliers offer a good value for anyone working with automotive connectors. It’s built for repeated use, comfortable to handle, and makes tricky disconnections less frustrating.
