Wanna know the netting? Imagine those hair nets at Fast Food places or Bakery, that's basically what you're getting thrown over plastic. I guess its great if you wanna put fish in a "timeout" or separate male guppies.As a hatchery? Ehhh.... No go research German hatchery, way better designed just very expensive. The holes will not store eggs or recently hatched fry.Also I used this on a 20 Gallon long, and felt it was still too big. Just felt bulky and unnecessary to me.

I ordered these because I was having trouble keeping my Dalmatian molly Baby fish alive( which if you have a male and female you may get a lot of babies) so I put this in my 29 gallon aquarium and this will be my first litter of all to survive. They grew so fast, they were protected ( because mommy and daddy fish will eat them as well as bettas ) And it was fun to just watch them grow. Definitely recommend if you have baby fish.

Big waste of money! The mesh is so thin the bigger fish were eat the babies through the net. I lost over 60 babies in an hour! Also the babies slipped in between the mesh and got stuck between the plastic and mesh.

Good sized nets for separating fish. Suction cups are pretty much worthless. Just clipped mine to the side of the tank.

The box itself is sturdy. The netting it comes with however is super easy to puncture and is basically trash. I was fairly careful during assembly and still ended up with a small hole on one of the boxes and on the other I had a snag in the fabric.I needed them immediately so I tried to use them anyway, but one of my fish got stuck in the seams of the mesh. I'm not even sure how, but she managed.Overall, not impressed. I'm hoping I can find something else I can replace the mesh with and still use the frame.The suctioncups also pop off fairly easy as well. But, that is easier to deal with than my fish getting stuck.They are super big and worth the money just for the frame really. Just seriously need to improve the netting.Please watch your fish on the seams!!

This is one of the rare items from China that actually works really, really well. This is probably the absolute best fry breeder available in my professional opinion of fish keeping for a over a decade now. The 6 suction cups are perfect for keeping this breeder box in place even in a strong current. I even added a pound of rocks for my frys to hide and the breeder box and suction cup was able to stay in place with out a problem.
