One of my light connectors had a broken locking mechanism. I tried both zip ties and electrical tape to hold it in place but it regularly wiggled just a little loose and then I'd have hyper flashing on my turn signal.I cut the old connector off and installed this one. I chose to solder in the wires rather than use the crimp connectors. The connector is now making a solid connection and the intermittent hyper flashing I had been getting is gone.

Less 1 star because all wires are black. Doesn't change functionality. Mark existing wires first then cut and splice
