At first I wasn't sure how many pieces this was going to come with, but seeing as it comes with so much I was able to build quite the little maze or play area. Whatever you want to call it, I don't think that my mice are going to be chewing through it at any time... It seems really well builtI do find that cleaning is a little bit tough but I just hope that they don't go to the bathroom in it and call it good. If I really really need to get a deep cleaning in, I'll probably just take it apart from the cage and put it into water or something soak it...Overall I would say it's a really good addition if you're trying to entertain your mice a little bit more and add a little bit more fun to your day when enjoying them. I wanted a way for them to be free and run around and I think I got it with this. Really cool and I was happy to see it attached to my cage without any special modifications.

It took me a while to figure out how to put these tubes together. some of them went together fairly easily, but then others just refused to connect. My husband had no trouble snapping them together though, maybe its just a matter of strength. Either way, My hamster absolutely adores these tunnels. I can here her scampering through them every night. About once a week, I take them apart and clean them. then put them back together in a different way. The maze seems to be very fun for her to figure out.
