This ladder toss game comes in a number of pieces that are supposed to be clicked together with the kind of metal button in the hole style connection. The problem is that the manufacturing is poor and many of the holes don't line up with the button well enough for it to snap into place. The horizontal bars are held in place with hand screws. One of these would not screw all the way in - the problem wasn't the screw which would have been less of a problem since they include extras, but with the threads in the metal bar itself. I could not get it all the way in. Thankfully this wasn't a problem since the rest of them went in ok so the bar was tight in place, but it was aggravating.It comes with a carry bag, but putting them together was annoying enough that I don't see wanting to bring this to the park and assemble it. Once assembled they are reasonably sturdy. We were so excited for this to arrive since we had a party scheduled and were going to use it right away. Unfortunately, our set was missing the left leg for each of the sides. Additionally, one of the carrying bags handle was ripped off of it, leaving a hole in the bag. Disappointed in this as it feels like I just purchased a jigsaw puzzle at a garage sale not expecting there to be missing parts that are crucial for the game

Super fun backyard game! Grew up playing. Ladderball and this set is well built. We had some finagling to do to get the parts together but with the collapsible nature of the set and included carry bags, that'll only be a problem once (it didn't require tools to fix, just elbow grease!). My only critique is that 6 balls (or whatever you call them) were included in the set, in three different colors. Everything I can read online says there are two teams with 3 balls each, so this seems like a strange choice. I also felt it strange that the set didn't come with instructions to actually PLAY the game, it was just the set, with assembly instructions.

The ladder toss ball game set is a lot of fun once it’s up and running, and I really appreciate the sturdy metal frame, it feels durable and holds up well during play. However, it did take longer than I expected to put together, and it's not the easiest to take apart when you're done. If you're looking for something more portable or quick to assemble, that’s something to keep in mind. But for backyard games or leaving it set up for a while, it’s a solid choice.

I’m reviewing Winthai’s metal frame ladder golf set. The best part of this set is that it really is durable since its made of metal and has a nice blue powdered-coated finish. I like that when it’s assembled, you can simply fold up the support feet for easier assembled storage, but I was hoping that overall assembly/disassembly would be easier. I feel like they overcomplicated the structure with multiple uninterchangeable pieces that will require you to reference the instructions initially. I’m not sure if some of my pieces were slightly warped or if its just how they’re manufactured, but it also wasn’t easy to get the fit just right so the metal pins would pop securely in or for the screws to be fully tightened. I was hoping for a quick, simple setup so I could take this on the go in the provided storage bags, but it might not be worth the hassle to take apart and put back together repeatedly. Also, even when disassembled, they give you two storage bags because only one ladder can fit per bag. It would’ve been nice for a storage option that fit all components of the game together. Finally, while they do include a magnetic scoring system, it only goes to 15. Most places I’ve played ladder golf, the rules are to play until exactly 21, so you either have to modify the rules to play with this set or ignore the included scoring system. I wanted to love this, but it’s just OK.
