I saw similar ones of these carpet rakes on social media ads and wanted to try it out. I have 2 large labs and they shed every day. This rake didn’t even pull any hair up. It does fluff up my carpet but that’s about it. The pole is really flimsy. It bends very easily. It comes with a handheld one that does well on couches though.

okay...so, where to beginit worksbut hold on because there's a lot to unpack here after saying "it works"the material is flimsy bendable aluminum and it doesn't lock together with the little pressure rivet things that other better models do, why is this bad? because while raking the device literally unscrews itself.the end part closes to your hand with the blue plastic? yeah that just flies off literally all the time. it also doesn't screw on, you just slide it over the end of the pole and so the second you grab it there it flies off. very annoying.it works--OK. only OK. better models get all of the hair with 1-2 swipes. this one gets it done in around 30-40 swipes.pros:-lightweight-it works, sort of-you dont have to bend over to vacuumcons:-still have to bend over when the device unscrews itself or comes apart in the middle-still have to bend over to clean up the pile of course.-works far slower than an actual vacuum does and is far less effective than the competition-weak aluminum poles that come apart easily and bend/warp-rods aren't connected with push-in rivets, they are screwed in...poorly.all in all my final review:NOT RECOMMENDED.if like me, you have hairy dogs [or cats for cat people] then you know how annoying it is when pet hair gathers on the staircases or in the corners or even on their beds. this tool is meant to fix these problems but instead of fixing them, it just creates new problems requiring far more time and effort than leading competitors or an actual vacuum cleaner which will finish the task in a fraction of the time.
