I got a set of these for my boyfriend who pops advil all day long and uses toothpicks frequently! It is perfect for toothpicks or pills. Attractive look and small enough to store in car or pocket. Great gift.

The lid on the dark holder fell off and wouldn't screw on after one use. The lighter colored holder wasn't much better. Cracks in the side of the wood, it's already splitting apart. I get it, it's just a toothpick holder. But it shouldn't be difficult to make something this simple out of parts that will last more than a week.

I became tired of leaving a restaurant, to find they didn't have a toothpick holder out, then the pandemic hit, and suddenly NO ONE has toothpicks anymore. Now I carry my own, everywhere I go.When I started looking for a holder, I saw many metal ones, a few plastic ones, and even fewer wooden ones. It just seemed right to me that wooden toothpicks should reside in a wooden holder.These are very well made, sturdy, and stay closed in my pocket. The fit and finish is very nice, although I may put a coat of urethane over it to help protect the wood as it bangs around in my pocket.Overall impression is excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to replace these with the same pieces if they became lost.

I carry them in a few convenient places. Handy ! Sometimes the top unwinds in my pocket but not enough to spill. I just wind it again a bit and it’s secure. Classy way to carry a tool for such a crude use! Although ... I took the thin plastic protector off a new iPhone case using a toothpick! Anything else would have scratched the plexiglass. So maybe a few uses.
