We have had chickens and fresh eggs for about 20 years. We usually clean them by wiping gently with a paper towel. Unfortunately, some of the eggs are soiled and this can be difficult to clean properly without damaging the shell. I liked that this rubbery cleaner felt safe to use without damaging the shell. And it removed the shavings stuck to the shell, but not the feces. I will continue to work with the egg cleaner in the hopes that I can get it to remove all of the debris from the egg.

This came with two little egg cups. They're soft silicone, so won't damage fragile eggs. And they WORK! We just came through a rainy season and everything was sooo muddy. Our eggs came in covered in mud. This little tool took care of about 85% of it with just a twist or two under cool water. Major time-saver and a great value! I love the suction cup on the bottom so I can stick it to the bottom of the sink. It really helps keep our eggs clean.

There’s not much to say about these egg cleaners other then they work and work well. I use both halves at the same time when cleaning one egg as it makes the process quicker and easier. The little nubs on the inside of the silicone cleaner work well with removing grass and dirt.

Really nice design with the suction cup on the bottom and the holes on the side to grip the scrubber while you twist and clean eggs. The only thing that I didn't like was that the silicone scrubbing bristles don't work super great (as with any silicone "scrubbing" device, I feel like it doesn't grip or truly scrub the surface because the silicone is naturally not going to produce much friction). It does accommodate a variety of sized eggs. The holes on the side take some getting used to for gripping the scrubber without damaging or cracking the egg. I use a small dab of dish soap and hot water to clean my eggs thoroughly just before eating and it can get a bit slippery with no big ridges on the outside to really hold it. This may be just fine using it dry for getting large pieces of poop and dirt off without disturbing the bloom, but using it wet doesn't seem to "scrub" as well. Overall, a great contraption for the price, easy to store and clean, and works fairly well.

Well, it's a little silicone thing that accepts half an egg and has nubbies on the inside to gently remove dirt. There are two of them in the package; I'm not sure if they're intended to be used at the same time (on both halves of the egg, holding one and "brushing" the other?) It's nice to remove attached debris from eggs direct from the chickens without washing off the bloom. They're perfectly sturdy, regularly shaped and soft to use for eggs.

I really like this silicone egg washer. It’s simple effective and easier to sanitize than a sponge that I was using. I like that it’s a Tupac and that it has a silicone face that suction cups so it’s very easy to stick one on the side of the sink or wherever you typically wash your eggs.

If you own chickens and are an egg collector, cleaning eggs can be such a pain. I wish my chickens were more lady like and kept their eggs clean but alas they do everything they can to make them the most caked on crud eggs that I have ever seen. Therefore cleaning eggs is a huge pain, a simple wash cloth does work but you put too much pressure and things can get messy.These silicone egg cleaners are the best! I prefer these than a washcloth or a scrub brush, easily cradles the egg, the little bumps inside help wear down fecal build up on the egg or dirt, straw, gunk, etc. These cleaners do come with a silicone bottom I think to stay on your sink or it could be to help one hold while the other cleans but I am ok with just using one to clean and the other a back up. Really love these egg scrubbers, they help me out a lot with a chore I hate doing. Would highly recommend because this is a pack of two.

SO helpful for cleaning eggs! Yes, I could use a wash cloth, as my children love to point out, but I love that we can use this little silicone gadget and save the wash cloth for the dishes lol. My eggs come from a friend so the icky stuff is pretty well dried on. I let the eggs soak for just a couple minutes then scrub and the ick comes right off with these things. Then I throw them right in the dishwasher to sanitize.Are they necessary in the kitchen, definitely not, but I love them!
