These are small, but effective, pads. I got these mainly to use for hiking/fishing and they will work great for that. They are very lightweight, which makes them easy to carry. I don't want to add too much weight to my little day pack when I take short hikes and don't want to carry a stool. This is a good compromise. They are small but will protect me when I sit on the ground or on a bench.

I have no meat on my posterior, so sitting on hard surfaces gets uncomfortable quickly. I like these small, foldable sitting pads because they fold up small, stay together with the attached elastic strap, give just enough padding to be comfortable, are no larger than your seat, and come with a drawstring nylon bag to store then.I tested a pad by sitting on it on the ground for 20 minutes. My butt was a little achy, bit a far cry from sitting on that hard floor with no padding.I plan to keep these in my car so ai always have a padded seat should I find myself somewhere with only hard surfaces.
