I wouldn't call them marching snare drum sticks because they're mallets, not sticks. They're a hard felt timpani stick that can also be used on tom-toms or on a drum set for a round sound with a distinct attack because of the hard felt.They seem well made with smoothly sanded handles that are well balanced in the hand.

They're alright for what they are. Not the best quality, but not the worse, either. They're decent for what they are...sticks :-)
