I really like these heavy-duty suction cups. I confess I’ve never owned any Tibetan bowls, but these suction cups stick like the crazy to any flat, nonporous surface. They're great for holding and lifting panels of sheet metal, Plexiglas, or similar material that might otherwise be difficult to grip comfortably. It takes quite a bit of pressure to flatten them out enough to adhere, but once they stick, they stick tight.For the sake of experimentation, I stuck one to the side of a metal file cabinet, perpendicular to gravity so it had to support its own weight, and it took some ferocious tugging to get it back off. Curious how long the suction might hold, I stuck the same cup to the same spot and left it there; more than 40 hours passed before it lost its grip. A single molded unit of flexible silicon rubber with no additional moving parts, when it finally worked itself loose, the cup dropped harmlessly to the floor, ready to stick on something else.These suction cups seem sturdily made and cleanly molded, with no rough edges to interrupt the suction surface. I saw another review on this page where the author said they came in handy in his job laying tile, which seems like a perfect application for them.If I were to change anything about this item, a proper storage case might have been a nice touch. Some basic maintenance and cleaning instructions would also be a welcome addition. even just a few lines on a business card.But these are minor quibbles about a nifty item. These suction cups stick so well on all the metal and glass surfaces I tried, I can only imagine how wonderfully they must work with actual Tibetan bowls as intended. Fine product.
