I opened the packaging inside my house. That turned out to be a mistake.Now I have thousands of small flecks of aluminum shavings all over my front hall rug. About half are still stuck to the extrusion.Not clear how I will remove those safely. (Not wanting to inhale aluminum dust)Who packs things this carelessly?I recommend finding another supplier for these.Not everybody can be this bad a manufacturing and packaging

Package arrived with the box in good shape. The extrusions were individually wrapped in protective film, then wrapped together with a stronger plastic wrap. No dings, dents or scratches. Yes, there was quite a lot of metal shavings - easily brushed off. Thankfully, there was no cutting oil, which would have made the shavings stick to everything and been much more difficult to clean. The ends were cut clean and square with no burrs to remove. In fact, the cut edges on the ends are sharp! I used a file to softened them a bit.My intention is to use these extrusions to supplement and extend the fence on my table saw. Ideally, they should be straight and flat as possible on all surfaces, with no twist along their length. Knowing these are not manufactured and machined to super tight specs, I was just hoping to get lucky when I ordered them. With a Starrett 48" straight edge placed on the 100mm wide side, I found a very slight bow along the length. Using feeler gauges, 0.0025" would fit into this gap while 0.0030" would not. I'm more than satisfied, and very surprised, with this minimal (less than 3.0 thousandths inch) variation. My order contained 2 pieces with the second piece being a little worse - something less than 5.0 thousandths. I have no accurate way to determine twist other than to lay the piece on a flat surface and see if it "rocks" on its corners. My "flat surface" is the granite countertop in my kitchen which Mr Starrett says is truly flat. No rocking I could discern on either piece, so I have to say the pieces are not twisted. BTW, my wife hates it when I bring my "wood-working toys" into the kitchen.Overall, I have to say this was one of those few times when the product I received greatly exceeded my expectations. Definitely would buy again.Disclaimer: I'm just an amature wood worker and NOT a machinest. So, take my measurements and methods into consideration - I have been known to make mistakes. If it was possible, I would rate 4.5 stars merely due to the "debris" in the package. But in the end, in my world of generating sawdust which gets everywhere, that just wasn't important enough to drop a whole star.

These measured out to be between 400.5 and 401 on my metric tape measure that's accurate out to 150mm according to my calipers. The edges are very square. The I.D. of the holes are 4.65. The extrusions seem to be within the 20/100 by +/- .05mm. My main complaint is these were absolutely covered in metal chips. The plastic (probably the manufacturer's scratch guard) was covered in them because of the adhesive between the slots, and once I removed that, there was much more I had to clean off with my air gun. Packaging was the scratch adhesive wrapped with packing plastic wrap, and then inside a shrink wrap, placed inside a cardboard box with no crush material. This does mean they are at increased risk of crush damage during shipping. Overall, if you don't mind the cleanup, and will open it up and check for crush damage immediately, I can recommend these.

These aluminum extrusions are exactly as specified, they're dimensionally accurate, shipped smartly to prevent damage and ultimately were exactly what I was looking for. The T Slot's are all perfectly dimensioned which makes for utilizing various t-slot attachments painless as there are no burrs or imperfections.

You get exactly what the listing says. Dimensions are all correct. Additionally, the pair is very well packed in a nice box with a clever internal protective wrap. Mine arrived in mint condition. For the price--no complaints!
