The reason I gave this two stars is that I had to use a tap and die to chase the threads in these two skids. None of the bolts would thread through if I didn’t happen to have a full set of metric taps this would’ve gone back to Amazon really crappy Machine work done here. They should be giving me some credit for the fact that I had to invest a half hour of my time just to cut my own threads.

Very good quality, heavy 1/4 in steel. Not sure about the orange colour as there are none to choose from.Having said that, this item is definitely well made.Item as described. Sits well in the bucket of the tractor

Great price, well built, and the lock nuts are good to use to keep it in place. I put a piece of old tire tube between it and my bucket which helps hold it securely. Highly recommend.

Looks like a heavy duty product. The casting seems nice. The only compliant was I that I needed to tap the bolt holes on one of the shoes. Obviously the person taping these was using a worn out tap. You will need a M10 x 1.5 metric tap if you need to fix yours.

These skids are made from cast steel not fabricated from bent plate steel. I used them for 4 hours today and the did a awesome job of keeping the bucket from digging in as I was leveling my material. I highly recommend them.

The skids look heavy enough but paint/powder coat is chipped in spots. No big deal as they’ll be wore down to the metal soon enough. But didn’t expect it to be before I installed them. Also no bolts, wrench, gloves or brush included in the box. Just the skids. Can do without the gloves, wrench and brush but now I have to make an extra trip to the hardware store to get bolts! 🤬

These do allow the tractor bucket to slide along the ground and not dig in. I had hoped it would help with snow removal on my dirt road, but while it did let the bucket slide, it mostly left two areas of packed snow where the attachments were and really didn't do much to help with snow removal.I do think it will work much better for leaf and branch pickup as it does protect the ground from the bucket digging in.When placing the skids make sure you leave enough room between the side of the bucket for the handle of the bolt wrench (included) otherwise you'll have to figure out a different way to tighten the holding bolts.I also ended up spraying the attachment down with oil before putting the bolts in as the screw holes were already showing signs of rust forming.

Used them in gravel and pavement to plow snow and these attachments works great. Prevents gouging into ground. Will leave a scrap if pressed into the pavement.
