This wheel does not work with 9 speed chain, also is too thick to fit Shimano Shadow Derailleur

I have a Shimano XT deore 10 speed derailleur and needed SHIMANO SEALED BEARINGS M773...yet didn't want plastic as the last ones I had failed me, so I searched for a replacement. I located these and thought I would give them a shot. DIDN'T WORK!!! My chain sticks to these like glue!

My son lose one guide wheel when he used the bike. We spent an hour trying to find the missing part. Luckily, I found this. After installation, it works perfectly and it works better than the original wheel which does not have a real bearing.

While the pulleys look like good quality items, they would not fit my mountain bike derailleur. I have a Santa Cruz Juliana with 10-spees cassette. Chain is an HG-X chain. The pulley teeth fit too tightly into the chain. Pulleys have to be modified or narrow one found.
