Very fast SSD! It really works well with the iPhone 16 pro max and handles data transmission very well. Item is sturdy, but still lightweight and attaches to the magnetic back.

This 1 Teta byte hard drive works well with Google phones. A cheaper alternative are a USB C SD card holder for micro SD cards with a capacity of up to 1 Teta byte. Writing to or reading from either device requires using the phones plug in charge port and also activating the link between phone and the external drive by opening the phone's storage menu. Obviously the connection is only available without a charge cable attached. This plug in drive is small, lightweight and comes with a shortconnecting cable and metal rings to be attached to the back of the phone so that the drive with a magnetic base can be attached.

The 10gb rated USB-C > USB3 cable works fine to give full access speeds; didn't get to try the 20gb rated USB-C to C cable.Both cables are very short, but that's not a significant issue given that its usage scenario is to stick it magnetically to the device it's being used with, so its USB port should end up getting mounted very close to the USB port it's being plugged into. It's nice that it includes both, so that you aren't stuck messing around trying to find alternative cables only to discover that the cable might not be suitable for highspeed data transfer; or that you need a USB-C -USB3 adaptor that can't handle the highspeed data transfer.The unit itself is nicely solid metal, so should be resistant to a fair bit of casual mishandling - although you will want to invest in a 3rd party USB port-cap to stop dust and cludge getting in it if you're carrying it around. The small drawstring bag that it comes with should help to avoid dusting getting in, but isn't foolproof as a solution.The capacity was as described on the page, and it was preformatted to plug-and-play flawlessly with Windows.

Looking for a convenient device to allow you to capture your filming projects in the highest quality available to iPhone 16 Pro models ? this is the one for you! 2 TB makes the storage perfect for taking up to 71 minutes roughly of 4k @120 Pro Res HDR video and even longer using Pro REs not he front facing camera for self viewing recording. the mag safe design doesn't cover or interfere with any part of the camera and the RGB lights on the back are really fun and give it there perfect pizazz. 10/10 recommend.

So, I'm not a tech guru, so I'm not able to comment on the technical aspects of this external SSD, but what I can say is that it seems to be well-made, and it's really useful for expanding the storage capacity of my phone. I ordered it to store video footage from my Insta360 camera, after editing it in the app on my phone since the videos take up ALOT of storage space on my phone, and it's perfect for that purpose. The file transfer speed is fast, and it's pretty simple to use once you get it formatted and figured out. It's functional and it allows me to do more with my action camera. I think that it's a reasonable value for the money, for 500GB of external storage in a SSD format. I'd buy it again.Recommended.

The RGB lighting sold me. Totally unnecessary… but worth it if you're into that thing as it gives off that gamer aesthetic without being over the top. The MagSafe feature is a neat touch too, pretty much sticks to anything magnetic so no slipping around. Super lightweight and still feels solid. I have not really used it for my phone but as a drive for your laptop this lil thing moves like its got somewhere to be, the transfer speeds are really fast and of course I've not had any issues with data corruption..hopefully NOT yet.So put simply this is a crazy small SSD for its size, the transfer rates are fast, looks cool as hell, and also it's easy to use, there is no other stuff to do, just plug and use. For £89 this is cheaper than most SSDs and allows better diversity in terms of which devices can use it.
