Installing 6x9 speakers in 1964 car without rear package tray so I went with speaker boxes. These boxes are perfect. Well made using quality terminals and heavy gauge wire. Carpet and damping materials are well done as well. Hole size was spot on! So nice when you get what you pay for and expect. I could not have built them for what they cost and I would definitely recommend them.

I put Rockford Fosgate Punch 6×9 in them and it has worked out great for me. Solid speaker boxes.

I used these in my vintage vehicle to house 6x9 speakers for a headless bluetooth amp system. Good construction. Speakers were easy to install. Dimensions were accurate.

These speaker boxes are a real throwback to the days when 6x9 speakers ruled the car stereo world. They are still very useful, say for installation in a classic car or behind the seat of a regular cab pickup. These boxes are made of MDF, covered in automotive-type carpet material, and lined with (I assume) polyester batting for sound dampening. You will need to attach the appropriate terminals to the speaker wires for your particular speakers. The terminals at the back of each box will require banana plugs. (My preference would have been screw terminals for spade lugs)I installed a pair of Alpine 6x9’s, which fit perfectly in the cutouts. (Be careful when tightening the screws as the MDF strips easily.) The boxes well crafted and nicely finished. I doubt you could construct your own for what this pair cost.

I guess I should have waited until I installed the speakers, which are on their way, before reviewing these enclosures but I don't think it really would matter. I was not sure of the quality of these until they arrived but now that they are here I can absolutely attest that these are very well made. I am a woodworker and I could have put several hours, maybe 5 or 6, into building my own but sometimes it is better to let the people do what they know best, and Audiotek did an outstanding job. They are solid, there will not be any vibrations, I can tell by the build quality. The outer carpet is installed nicely, not sloppy like you would find on cheaper, and yes less expensive speaker enclosures. The black is perfect for where these will go, in the small area behind the seats of my 1965 Triumph TR4. The banana plugs also assure of a good, solid connection and the insulation on the inside adds to the overall package. When I do install the 6x9 speakers into these I know the enclosures will be great, it will be the quality of the speakers and the radio and power supplying the signal that will be the only factor that will determine how good the sound it. Very happy with these, and remember, this is coming from someone who could have built his own but the time involved to build something of this quality is not worth it. $45 for these is a great value if you really want the best sound your speakers can deliver.

Solid little box should work great for behind my convertible seats. Perfect shape for the space I need. Didn’t realize it uses the banana ports but other than that I’m pleased so far.

I liked that they already came with the insulation in them.
