Product Description

2 SPEED BANDSAW
2 SPEED BANDSAW
  • Our bandsaw is versatile and suitable for cutting a variety of materials. For harder materials like hardwood and plywood, use a lower speed setting. For softer materials like softwood and MDF, higher speed settings are more effective for clean cuts.

  • When cutting intricate patterns and curves, use the higher speed setting to achieve smoother edges and better control. For larger, straight cuts on big panels, the lower speed setting will suffice, providing more stability and control over the cut.

  • To avoid burning and vibration, especially on materials like acrylic and plastic, use the lower speed setting. This helps maintain high precision and quality, ensuring a clean cut without damage to the material.

  • You can watch our speed adjustment tutorial video for step-by-step instructions, and we also provide a detailed user manual to help you through the process.

I hate to start with a negative, but THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT ON THIS BANDSAW! The bottom wheel is out of alignment and the blade runs 1/4" off the front of the wheel while riding perfectly in the center on the top wheel. This keeps you from closing the bottom door without the blade digging into the door. This saw needs to have some way to canter the bottom wheel like the top[ one does. I finally found an email address for the company but no one answers email. It could be because I'm writing from the USA and they're too pissed off at our country to bother with us, but, hey, I still need product support, folks!UPDATED: The power of a review! The company responded to me surprisingly after my frustrated review. They sent me a fix which I will try tomorrow. I'm looking forward to my updated review soon!UPDATED 4/15/2025: The company sent me a replacement saw and it works perfectly! It took a while to adjust the tracking on the top and bottom wheels but once it was done, it works very well. Cyrene, the company representative, was a very big help and kept my frustration level low. I'd buy from them again, should the opportunity arise.

I think most of these small band saws are pretty much the same other than a few small details. I chose the Leumaus 9" because it has two speeds & a 3 amp motor. Most of the others only had a 2.8 amp motor & a single speed.Unfortunately the Leumaus does not have roller blade guides like some of the other brands. But roller guides are available on both Ebay (inexpensive) & Amazon (more expensive), so I could deal with the lack of rollers in exchange for the two speeds & more powerful motor. The table appears to be cast aluminum with a thick powder coating with a surface ground top. It is a pretty course surface grinding as the working surface of the table is as rough as a cob. But just a few minutes with a DA sander & various grits of paper & the table was smooth. The powder coating was built up thick in the crosscut guide slot. So I had to clean some powder coating out of the slot so the guide would move freely. After a few minutes smoothing & adjusting the saw, it works fine & I am very happy with it. It could easily get five stars if it came with roller blade guides & a smoother table top.

The upper wheel does not fit in the metal housing, the bottom of the wheel scrapes against the metal and wont spin, straight from the factory, you can lift it up by adjusting the tension but it needs to be so tight just to put space under the wheel that the tension knob snapped. Also had issues with an inaccurate product descriptionPoor quality product, would not recommend

This little bandsaw exceeded my expectations. Good design and immediately useful. Have been looking for a small bandsaw to use inside for building models. I don't think I could have made a better choice. Best features include well designed adjustment controls, easy to use and convenient blade tensioner, built-in light. I started using it right out of the box.
