My favorite carboy carrier is simple and comfortable to carry. It has 3 straps crossing at the bottom and only one plastic buckle to assure a snug fit. The handles are integrated. In contrast, this one has just two straps crossing over at the bottom, 6 plastic buckles, and two plastic strap handles. The handle straps are separate pieces from the main holder. They seem much longer than necessary and the extra buckles are a bit clunky. No instructions were included, and I had to go back to the Amazon listing to figure out how it all pieced together. Maybe all that plastic is needed to fit multiple sizes. It works, but I wouldn't buy another one.

I have a set of three gallon carboys and they can be a challenge to move around. I use plastic carboys to cut down on weight, but still, three gallons weighs around 25 lbs. Picking it up around the middle can cause puking and we don't want that. These straps work great with 3 gallon and 5 gallon carboys. I don't know how well they would work for a 2 gallon bottle. They do adjust, but I would think a 2 gallon carboy would be loose in the straps. This comes with two long carry straps if you are working at floor level. I've found I only need the four loops at the top to carry mine since I'm going from table to table. It's straps are strong and thick. The straps around the bottom edge are even thicker. The carrier is easy to put on and take off with just one person and makes moving it around so much easier. I wish I had ordered one of these years ago! This turns back breaking lifting into something one person can handle easily.

This makes carrying carboys and large jars much safer and easier. Even though the jars I currently use have handles, they are plastic connected to a plastic lid. I never trusted them when the jars were full, so I would bear hug them when carrying. The straps are thick and seem to be well sewn. I like the orange thread they used where the straps come together at the bottom. It makes centering the jar a lot easier. The buckles also appear to be well made and sturdy. I like that I can adjust the straps to the size of the container and then use the buckles to take the carrier on and off without having to readjust the straps. It will work with various sized containers. The jar in the pictures is 2 gallons. It comes with two very long shoulder straps with rubber handles. I doubt that I will ever use them because the smaller handles are long enough. However, if I ever need assistance moving a container, they would make it easier for a second person to help. What I don’t like is that the double layer of strap at the bottom is much smaller than they depict. It would have been nice if the whole bottom was double-layered to give extra strength when carrying a very heavy carboy full of liquid. I also don’t like that they didn’t include instructions. I really hate having to go back to the ad to see how to use a product. Once I looked at the pictures, it was easy to figure out, though.

Saw these and immediately needed them. Makes carrying 3 gallon carboys much easier. The seem well build and there are not stray strings at the seams/joints. The webbing straps are also thick and seem strong. I brew mead and these make moving the couple batches I keep rotating around much easier than by hand and awkwardly down stairs. The design is nice, makes getting it on and off quick so its not a pain to use.
