This thing is cool!! Was a bit weird to put together because the included instructions weren’t the best. But once I figured it out it worked well. At the highest point it has good drop for a 6 footer. If you use the automatic you need to swing and get ready as there isn’t a ton of time between drops. But if you don’t have a buddy to toss to you it works. Same with the single drop. Not sure it could handle a bunch of balls being hit into it but if you swing right and straight it should make it fine. Will update if their area y changes.

I wish the instructions were a bit clearer, but once we got it put together, it was pretty cool. The way it works using gravity rather than a motor is clever and it's easy to get used to the rhythm.Took it to the field to practice hitting. I do wish it was adjustable to be able to use different sized balls, like tennis or softballs, but I still recommend it for batting practice.

Works great. May have tightened a screw too tight upon set up, causing one of the welds to break free. Still works as should, every time. Easy for kids to use (Ages 10-12)

This is a REALLY clever little sports gadget that I easily adapted to be a tennis ball dropper rather than just baseball. There are a few variations of this product out there, but they all utilize some sort of motor and battery power giving them one more thing that can break or at least one more than that makes them more complicated. This one, however, is completely mechanical. That means it's MUCH simpler, has less failure points, and also is battery free. It works with a simple counterweight and pendulum motion to drop balls one at a time with a very predictable tempo of feed rate.I'm a tennis player and know how helpful a simple tennis ball dropper can be for learning to build racquet head speed. Without being able to utilize incoming pace and spin to give return power, you're forced to generate your own power from nothing - a ball with no incoming velocity or spin.I simply raise this to its highest setting, added a little bit of girth to the ball stopper using a bit of rubber and zip ties, and voila! Now, I can "self-feed" tennis balls to work on forehands, backhands, etc without incoming pace to really help develop monstrous speed on my shots.I took it to the courts before my most recent match and it was amazing how much better I played having warmed up with this rather than with incoming shots.Build quality is outstanding and it's very stable.I highly recommend this!
