I've been doing bodybuilding training with a coach for 3 years now. I have my main gym, but sometimes need to use a different gym when I travel home to visit my family or for other reasons. On some gyms, the cables have a fixed single-hand handle, and you can't swap it for another attachment like a rope or bar or whatever. So, I bring my own hooks now, and can attach different handles to such cables. These do the job, and so far they fit perfectly into cable hooks.

Intended use: scuba diving.I am wary of anything on Amazon that says "stainless steel" and is this reasonably priced. On a whim, I bought a pack of these as well as two others. I mixed up a container of water with the same percentage salt as seawater and dropped one of each in. Left them for 17 days. On these, not a speck of rust. I think these will do just fine for diving. Now I just need to find some real stainless split rings!

I bought these for one purpose.The standard trailer wiring harness on a new Subaru is held to the hitch by a rubber strap that is in turn held in place as a cap on the connector. (see pic)The Subaru idea is ridiculous obviously, rubber stands up to the elements how well?I used this stainless steel carabiner as the clip that holds the connector to the hitch in place of the rubber cap / strap.(by the way, this is stainless steel and has a mild magnetic attraction as it should)Simply snap the carabiner to the cable and clip it to the hitch.Voila!PSEven if your rubber strap has already failed, (they all do), this will still do the trick.Simply use a zip tie to hold the carabiner to the cable.

I bought 2 packs for the extra attachments on my home gym cable system four months ago. The carabiners are as strong and sturdy as the original ones that came with the gym system. They have been mixed together and I can no longer differentiate the original and new. I've used the carabiners on the lower cable system with 200 lbs for squats and rows, and they work perfectly on the different attachments. They are strong and durable, and still look shiny new. They did not stretch, bend or corrode. They work perfectly for my cable system and I am very happy with them.

I use these clips to attach lifting straps to a large canvas tarp to help lift brush and grass up a 15' high rocky cliff and then to drag the bag over more rocks to a staging area near the road. Have made over 50 lifts so far, and these relatively inexpensive clips (I use 8) have held up well and never failed me. Small enough to fit the brass eyes on the tarps edge. Very impressive and great price for something I did not expect to last this long.

I did not expect the weight or strength of these hooks. I was in the market for something to secure a zippered section of my backpack. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep them, as it seemed a bit overkill for what I was looking for, but decided to keep them, as the other cheaper ones I've had; the spring always breaks inside. These are extremely durable and I imagine they have all kinds of uses. But they definitely work great for my purposes.

I'm very happy with these carabiners, especially because one of the Amazon question responses says they have a weight rating of 440lbs. It seems most of the carabiners Amazon sells is for light duty and don't even list a weight rating. Next time I will buy carabiners from Home Depot who have a large selection of carabiners in different sizes. Best of all, every one has a weight rating right on the package. It's worth the extra money if you are concerned about using it to support a heavy load.

Have been Using on my functional trainer (cable crossover machine) for a month now. Super high quality and smooth clip action, no jagged edges and seem to be holding up.Update: have ordered these multiple times and replaced every clip on my equipment with them. Between my family and friends these get used almost everyday and are holding up great. still smooth, finish wears as stainless steel should (no flaking or rust). I hate to rant and rave about clips but if you've had bad ones you know why I'm excited to find some good ones!
