Very bad quality the white side that sticks to the sander after 1-2 hours of used starts peeling off and destroying itself..price is cheap but quality is very bad

the problem I have the pad is a little bit bigger than 6 inch sending paper and if you are sending 3000 you gonna see a bunch of deep scratches into the paint from the pad

I work on boats a lot, so I'm frequently sanding curved surfaces. Automotive would have the same issues, I expect. These foam interface pads allow your random orbit sander to adapt to gentle contours more readily, doing a better job. The only downside is losing the dust pickup function- though I suppose you could punch through matching holes in these pads.The pads are about 1/2" thick, and moderately soft, so they work well with curved shapes. This adds considerable versatility to a random orbit sander. Definitely worth having if you work with things that are not flat.
