They suck. I couldn’t get one of them to work on one of the windiest days we’ve had. It might have helped if we would’ve had instructions. Waste of my money.

They all fly pretty well! I haven't had the chance to really fly the squid or octopus though. It is a little difficult to put together. We tied all the strings to the kite string, but it didn't always fly well. I think I'll have to go over the instructions again or maybe look up a YouTube video for a similar type of kite to make sure it's set up properly. I thought that it would be smaller than the other two kites, but it's actually just as big if not bigger! The ribbons are amazingly long too. this one will look insanely good if I were able to get it way up in the sky at the beach. The other two kites are pretty good, though I did have some issues with the rod at the two corners of the triangle kite coming out and folding. I used a little tape to keep it together, and although it isn't easily taken apart for storage, it doesn't come apart or need repairs anymore. The butterfly kite flies great. Just make sure that the rods are pushing inwards towards the kite (like for all kites). They come with all the strings you'll need. It's a great pack of kites that are a lot of fun to fly!

This is an okay set of three kites. I find the quality to be average. The delta kite is colorful and sleek. I don't like that the leading edge fiberglass rods don't go all the way to the wingtips, so they are left to flutter limply. The butterfly kite is, again, average for the type; it has a bit of white area where the kite extends beyond the outline of the butterfly. The octopus kite is a red parafoil with eyes and a multicolored tail. The first two kites have plastic storage bags and the parafoil has a nylon bag. The string (which lacks swivel clips) was all packaged in the octopus kite bag for some reason. I don't believe that the photoshopped marketing photos accurately depict the products. The actual kites are not as bright and colorful as the ones in the photos. I review a large number of kites in this market segment and I'm just not super excited by the quality or originality of these kites.

I ordered this set of kites for my grandchildren. They are each interesting and beautiful. However, the squid one doesn't include any type of support, and it did not work. So, 1/3 of the set was a waste. The other two worked perfectly.

I tried flying a kite once. It wasn't easy. Or maybe the conditions were not right but I ran up a hill as fast as I could, against the wind and I had to run with all my might until I finally got that kite up. It didn't stay up long and I lost all desire to ever try it again.I still admire them though. Especially these. My intentions for these kites are different. I am going to sail these from atop my new flag pole and hope that they also act as a windsock. The kites are really cute and made of the typical noisy, crinkly fabric you find in kites. The squid is big, bigger than a pillowcase. It comes in it's own storage bag. I'm in the process of installing my flag pole. Pictures coming soon

These are fantastic kites! The octopus was the easiest to assemble, but the trickiest to fly. The butterfly and rainbow take off easily on a windy day, and stayed sailing until we chose to reel them in.I recommend wearing gloves to help prevent burns from the kite string.The octopus and butterfly actually move in ways similar to their living counterparts, which was delightful! The butterfly also makes a satisfying flapping sound at times.None of the kites were difficult to assemble, and I had all three together in just a few minutes.Flying these kites is an enjoyable way to spend a windy day

My kids loved these kites (as did I)! The jellyfish one is my favorite, as it operates more as a wind sock without the need to assemble with poles and it was very durable!The other two kites work great as well (though they do require assembly). The instructions were a little confusing, but once you take a minute to think it through it was easy!These kites are a large size and are made of a quality material. We’ve used them a few times with no tears or breakage. The colors and long streamers also make it fun for kids (and adults) to fly!

This pack of three kites is one of the better deals I've found on Amazon. Their brilliantly attractive design and colors truly stand out. I purchased this kite kit for a "Family Engagement" activity at my UPK (Universal Pre-K) program, and these kites stole the show! Several parents asked me where I bought them, commenting on their uniqueness and how much they loved the flapping wings, which beautifully mimicked the flight patterns of butterflies – a topic we are currently learning about in UPK.The kit comes complete with everything needed to launch these beautiful kites. The string is long enough to keep the kites taut at high altitudes, allowing them to catch ample thermal air lift for long durations of flight. The string itself is tough and taut, and the clever handle design makes it easy for both my small students and adults to grasp comfortably without hand fatigue.Assembly was fairly easy; I'm certain it would be very easy for almost anyone but me. I have difficulty even pulling out floss tape! Having said that, it only took me about five minutes to assemble each kite.The children and their parents absolutely loved the kites. They are durable, colorful, and designed to effortlessly catch the wind and lift easily into the air. The length of the string is ample, and the kite string handle is well-made and fits comfortably in hands of all sizes. At this price, this is a soaringly good deal!
