These are really nice seam guides. I like the different pastel colors, which help me keep track of them. Although obviously you would normally only need to use one at a time, having three allows me to keep one at each machine (I have several machines in my sewing shed but also a couple of machines in my house as well) so I don't have to worry about carrying them back and forth. Also, if I am away from home, I can carry one in my sewing supplies. These guides have measurement markings that help with measuring without having to get a tape. They also have rounded edges to help if sewing a curve. The magnets are strong and don't slip so they help me keep my seams straight. It's a great idea, too, because you can move them easily enough to fit your seam width needs. I am very pleased with these!

Really powerful magnets. These hold tight and make keeping a seam line straight. I love them I have a couple machines and the three piece set is great I can leave one on each machine. They are strong magnets, easy to read measurements and have multiple angles. I love them and highly recommend them.

California now requires us to purchase grocery bags or bring our own. The jig helped me fix an almost new cloth grocery bag that had blown out mid-bag because it was not stitched properly to begin with. With my Brother sewing machine, it worked out that when I put this jig right up against the sewing foot, I had the proper hem width, about 1/4". I did a zig-zag stitch, as opposed to the original straight stitch. I'm including a picture, but please be kind to me, since I've only been sewing for about 2 weeks, with about 4 or 5 sessions so far. You should have seen my first few hems before I got these jigs! I did have to help the cloth through the machine, since it seemed to be lagging at first, though this has nothing to do with this guide. I have a walking foot, and I'll try using it later to see if that helps the feed. It is now at least as sturdy as it was originally intended to be.

These seam guides do the trick. Not only are they right for straight seams, they are useful as you turn the fabric to make corners (the shaped angles on the corners of the device make this possible). The magnets are extremely strong, but since the only metal on the surface of my sewing machine is the needle plate, that is where I must use this seam guide. I suspect other users will face the same problem, so it would be smart if the manufacturer placed the magnet off-center, so that the location of the guide could be adjusted according to the machine. The printed measurements (both in inches and centimeters) are helpful, as they inform me the length of fabric that is left as I'm sewing... which can be coordinated on matching pieces or opposite sides.

This advertised itself as a 3 pack and I only got 2. Disappointed by that but at least I should only really need 1 to get started. They appear to work but will update after I use one to hem a dress I’m working on.

This is an amazing tool for keeping your seams perfectly measured. Even with all the pinningThat I had done previously, my seams were always off a little bit. This is very helpful for uniformity. The magnet is very powerful and this does not slip out of place.Very happy with this purchase.
