Even my kids were able to get in on the action, and we had a blast shaping our own onigiri. The molds are designed with a non-stick, slightly rough interior, which meant the rice came out cleanly and in perfect shapes within moments – no special skills needed at all!Cleaning up afterwards was also a breeze. The musubi press can be quickly rinsed, washed by hand, or even put in the dishwasher, which is a definite plus for busy households. Its compact and light design also makes it easy to tuck away in a drawer or cupboard without taking up much space.We've already enjoyed experimenting with different fillings and sizes, making meal times more exciting for the family and adding a creative touch to our cooking. It’s been a fantastic way to involve everyone in the kitchen and have some fun together.My only reservation at this point concerns how long the triangular molds will last. The piece at the bottom that you push up to release the rice is connected to the main mold with what appears to be thin plastic. I do worry that this might be a weak point and could potentially break with repeated use.Despite this concern about the long-term durability of the triangle molds, I must say that this kit has been incredibly useful and has brought a lot of enjoyment to our family cooking. We will definitely continue to use it and will provide an update on how well the molds hold up over time!

I’ve always loved eating onigiri and musubi when dining out, and after seeing so many TikToks, I finally decided to try making them at home. This kit made it really easy and fun. The triangle molds work perfectly and give a nice, clean shape every time. The rice doesn’t stick, but if you're having trouble with that, adding a little bit of water to the sides of the mold helps it come out smoothly. The musubi press is made from a different plastic and came a little warped, which was disappointing, but it’s still usable. I was surprised by how useful the little rice paddle was—it’s just the right size for scooping and pressing rice into the molds. Overall, great kit for the price. Would give 5 stars if the musubi press had the same quality as the triangle molds.

These sushi makers are just so cutely and compactly designed just like a bento box or something from Zojurishi. I like that there’s a little rice paddle included for packing the rice. I’m excited to use these as sushi making is something new for me. I’m planning to make my own jackfruit sushi which I saw online. I highly recommend these sushi makers. Thank you.

These are the perfect size and they work great! I'm inexperienced making onigiri, and these make them a snap. The rectangular one is just a little larger than a slice of spam, so that's perfect! I think I'll mostly use the rectangular and large triangle ones, but the small one would be fun to use for hors d'oeuvres.

First, the pieces, although cheaply made, hold up just fine under use. Nothing has broken yet either.Second, they are really easy to use. Anyone, even my toddler, could use them.Third, for the price they are okay. Nothing fancy but nothing that breaks in two seconds.Fourth, I make musubi and onigiri a lot and these are perfectly sized for each. Just make sure to use a little water to help the rice not stick too much.
