Works great? No leaks even after leaving the bottle for several weeks. You can tell when it reaches the max vacuum because the button does not come back up after several pumps.Great value for the money!

This does just what it says, creates a vacuum in the bottle. It pushes on easily, and takes about 15 quick pumps to vacuum out a half full bottle of wine. Even when fully vacuumed, it is easy to remove from the bottle. I like that it comes in a three pack, I can have more than one bottle open at a time now, and not worry so much that they will be bad in a couple days. The instruction say to drink the wine within 7 days of opening, and you can set the date on the pump of when you originally opened it. I don't think I will even wait that long to drink it though.

These vacuum wine stoppers work great. I like that you don’t need to have a separate pump to remove the air, it’s all in one. It’s also a nice feature that it has a dial to set the date you put the stopper in the wine so you don’t have to remember and can easily tell how long it has been since you opened it. My only feedback for improvement would be to have an easy pressure release button so you can release the stopper easily.

I've never used a vacuum stopper before so I'm not sure what I should be expecting. Primarily I use the hinge type stopper and it always seemed to do the trick. I've sealed some bottles with these but I was expecting to feel more resistance when pressing the top but I don't. The button does become more compressed but I can keep pushing fairly easily so I'm not sure if it's vacuuming or not. Between my husband and I wine doesn't last more than 2 days so I can't speak to whether using these vacuums will make a difference or not (I guess I have to wait until he's gone so I can keep a bottle longer than 2 days). I do find the day tracker could be handy on those occasions where I might switch between red and white and end up with multiple bottles open.
